How to be the #1 Web 2.0 Cult leader

Step #1.

Build your presence on the web. Be the authority that the social online communities look up. Be good to the point that they will remember you if they need help and support and guidance. Serve these online social communities. Be a father figure to them.

Step #2.

Organize a group that can assist you in your plans. Feed these group goodies. Make them loyal to you. Expose them to your hate propaganda.

Step #3.

Create discontent. Issues that can really divide online community users.

Examples: Why users of Yuwie.com get paid for doing the exact same thing Facebook users are doing. This is injustice.

The effect would be some kind of WEB 2.0 Virus

Of course this post seems like a big joke right now. But we should not underestimate cult leaders. Time and again, they have found a way.

If some sites can make you fall in love or experience hatred, cult leaders might find a way to let you believe and trust them.
